Pneumatic regulating valve is composed of two parts: pneumatic actuator and regulating mechanism. The regulating mechanism is roughly the same structure as most regulating valves, and the difference is mainly in the actuator. The pneumatic actuator can generate corresponding thrust according to the size of the control signal to push the valve to move. Under the action of the thrust of the actuator, the pneumatic control valve will produce some displacement or rotation angle to directly adjust the flow of the fluid.

A complete set of pneumatic devices should also include opening indication, travel limit, solenoid valve, positioner, pneumatic components, manual mechanism, signal feedback and other components.

The following aspects should be paid attention to when using the pneumatic control valve:

(1) The pneumatic control valve belongs to the field instrument valve, the ambient temperature should be 25 ~ 60 ℃, and the relative humidity should be less than or equal to 95%. If the equipment is in the open air or at high temperature, waterproof and cooling measures should also be taken, and it should be kept away from vibration sources or anti-vibration measures should be added.

(2) Pneumatic control valves should generally be installed vertically, and can be tilted in special cases, but if the tilt angle is large or the valve is too important, add support and protection.

(3) The pneumatic control valve device used on the pipeline is generally not too high from the ground or the floor. When the pipeline height is greater than 2m, a platform should be established to facilitate handwheel and maintenance operations.

(4) The dirt and welding slag of the pneumatic control valve pipeline should be removed before installation. In order to ensure that there is no residue in the valve body, the valve should be cleaned again after installation.

(5) In order to enable the pneumatic control valve to continue in the process of failure or maintenance, a bypass pipe should be added to the valve. In addition, pay special attention to whether the location of the equipment meets the process requirements.

(6) The electrical equipment of the pneumatic control valve should be carried out according to the construction requirements.

(7) Lubrication should be paid attention to after the reducer of the actuator is disassembled and repaired. Generally, low-speed motors cannot be washed with water. After assembly, check whether the valve position and the valve opening indication are consistent.
